About The Wren's Rest...

The Wren's Rest main cabin was originally a café / restaurant, situated an the edge of Nightcap National Park.

With its fully equipped commercial kitchen, ample parking, wheelchair access and plenty of outdoor and indoor seating areas, The Wren's Rest main cabin can accommodate many guests and up to five adults can sleep directly in the cabin.

As well as the main cabin, there are three separate hut-style outdoor private bedrooms, each with its own fan, queen-size bed and a fold-out sofa.

These rooms are detached from the main house and are situated around the fig tree in the central garden area, within 50m from the main cabin, bathrooms and kitchen.

The undercover courtyard offers shelter from bad weather and has access to the kitchen, toilets, bathroom and the washing machine. A large water tank provides plenty of clean rainwater for our guests (there is a spring on the land as well).

Sheltered by the tin roof, the courtyard can be used to hang your laundry or use the large outdoor BBQ even if it rains.

Our bathrooms are "semi-outdoor rustic-organic shower rooms". Private, with electricity and hot water, they offer a classic outdoor bush experience, while maintaining the comfortable standards of The Wren's Rest.

One shower is in the courtyard (above) and one is "en suite" to the Quandong Hut Room (right).

The Wren's Rest is situated right at the very edge of Nightcap National Park, which blesses us with spectacular views of the rainforest, clean fresh air and all-year-round peace and quiet, disturbed only by the birds and the cicadas.
